Michal Rogalski won against English Alex Lane but it was a thriller.

When you are the top seed everybody expect you to do good. Somebody might even say that you are the person who should win the tournament.

In the first match in Falcon Club, Minsk Polish top seed Michal Rogalski had to fight hard against English Alex Lane who entered the Belarus International through the qualification.

No confident
Rogalski, who is number 157 in the World, lost to the first game 16-21, but won the second and the third 21-15 21-17.

— I have not felt confident in the last couple of weeks so today my focus was one point at the time. It is still not working how I want it to, but I am happy that I manage to win today, Rogalski says.

— I know I am the top seed, but I do not feel any pressure. It is just a number.

Want to play European Games
In 2019 the European Games will take place in Falcon Club and Rogalski is ready to go back to Minsk in June 2019.

— I am surprised that Minsk looks so nice. I have never been in Belarus before, but I will enjoy this tournament and hopefully I will be playing here at the European Games.

— There are a lot of hotels, nice parks and the area is also very luxury. It is a nice setup here.

Rogalski will in the second face Valentin Singer from France.
