Moore/Williams reach career high European Ranking
The win at Polish International 2017, was the bump Jenny Moore and Victoria Williams needed to get into the top 3.
This weekend, the duo won their first senior title at Polish International, which gave them the bump to jump to a career high spot at no. 3.
— We’re really happy as this is mine and Viki’s first senior international tournament title, Jenny Moore tells Badminton Europe

Into ‘Top 3’
The English women’s doubles have been jumping up and down between 4 and 5 for a while, but the new ranking that was published on Monday took them from no. 6 to the no. 3 spot.
— 3rd is our new highest Europe ranking which we are really happy about.
Moore and Williams are playing the European Circuit tournaments to achieve higher rankings, in general, but also to gain experience.
— We have been working on our consistency, and we feel that this was evident in the final which we were happy about.

A break is coming up
So far, their consistency has been working for them and they hope to keep moving up the rankings in the future.
But Williams is having surgery in December, which puts the English duo on ‘pause’ for now.
— Unfortunately, Viki is having major surgery in December so will be out of badminton for a while, so up until then we are hoping to continue our good form and hopefully win another tournament.
